Each of the linked Express Entry programs has its own qualifying standards, although all applicants must meet at least one year of specialized work experience and a specified level of proficiency using an authorized English or French language test.
Furthermore, candidates of Express Entry in Canada are scrutinized for medical conditions and criminal histories which would disqualify them from gaining entrance into the country.
2. Create An Express Entry profile
Those who meet the requirements must submit a profile to the candidate pool. The Express Entry profile functions as an Expression of Interest (EOI).
Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements will immediately be compared against the other candidates in the pool and given a score based on their profile.
Based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), Express Entry has a ranking score of 1,200 points.

The CRS score is used as a cut-off point for Express Entry draws. Its rationale is to predict the chances of an Express Entry applicant in Canada becoming economically successful.

3. Create A Job Bank Profile
Candidates for Express Entry who do not have a job offer or a province nomination may then register on the Canada Job Portal.

4. Improve Your CRS score
Candidates who have not yet been picked from the Express Entry pool can enhance their profile and score. They can accomplish this by supplying fresh and updated data.

5. Receive An Invitation To Apply
